American International Tooling is actively hiring for an Entry Level Machinist. We have experienced unprecedented growth and require qualified applicants. We are located in Minden, NV. This is a full-time, day-shift position generally working Monday-Friday from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
General Summary
Makes adjustments or operates machines following instructions or prescribed practices following set up by others. Assists in loading machines, positioning work, and setting up jobs. Assists production workers on various types of work. Performs minor hand operation such as filing, deburring, cleaning, polishing, assembly press, bead blast, saws, and maintenance. The entry level positions offer the ability to prove your skills and move up to other positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clean and polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Load and adjust workpieces onto equipment, using hand tools.
  • Remove completed workpieces from equipment, using hand tools, and place workpieces in containers.
  • Manual and automated polishing.
  • Mark defects such as pitting, grinder marks or scratches for repair.
  • Transfer equipment, objects, or parts to specified work areas, using moving devices.
  • Cleaning and maintenance on machines.
  • Learn to bead blast parts.
  • Learn to operate CNC band saws to cut material.

  • Frequently lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Training in general industry safety.
