Description
The musical revue “Some Enchanted Evening”, a celebration of the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, will be presented by the Carson Valley Community Theatre at the CVIC Hall in Minden, January 25 through February 3, 2013.
CVCT presents its third musical revue featuring music from Broadway shows. Previous productions were “Sounds of Broadway” (2008) and “Broadway in Revue” (2010), both of which were well received by local audiences.
Under the direction of Norris Edson and the musical direction of Sue Kinney, the production will take the audience on a wonderful sound excursion of popular show tunes. Performed by vocalists from the Carson Valley and the surrounding area, the program includes songs from such Broadway hits as “Oklahoma”, “South Pacific”, “The Sound of Music”, “The King And I”, and several more.
