The Nevada State Railroad Museum and Veterans Affairs are hosting a reception for the museum's new temporary exhibit Through Our Eyes. The exhibit currently features portraits of sixteen Veterans from the Sierra Nevada Health Care System’s catchment along with the veteran’s My Life, My Story, a first-person narrative life history. The exhibit features a variety of women representing various backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and the five military branches of service. During the reception, meet some of the women veterans featured in the exhibit. The women veterans will share stories of their experiences serving in the armed forces. Admission is free and open to the public.
