Katie's, the Carson Valley Inn's 24-hour restaurant, CV Steak, the Inn's Nevada-style steakhouse, and Job's Perk, the casino/hotel's convenient coffee (and more) café, combine to provide dining variety and values during November.

The CV Steak menu features a selection of appetizers and a generous range of entrees including steaks, chops, seafood, chicken and pasta dishes.  All CV Steak entrees include tableside-tossed salad and, except for the hearty pasta dishes, also include vegetable and your choice of potato - baked, au gratin or a one-pound, twice-baked potato. 

CV Steak is open from 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday offering a combination of price, selection, ambience and service that make casual dinners affordable - and special occasions memorable.  Reservations are recommended in CV Steak by calling 775-783-6650.

On Thanksgiving Day, CV Steak will serve dinner from 1 to 9 p.m.  In addition to the regular menu, CV Steak Thanksgiving dinner specials include:  Diestal Farms Wood-Roasted Tom Turkey or a Stuffed Fillet of Sole.  Both specials include table-side tossed salad and choice of pumpkin or apple pie for dessert.  CV Steak Thanksgiving specials are $21.95 ($8.99 for children under 10).   

Katie's offers a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices plus appetizers, desserts and more!  Katie's 24-hour signature special is a $5.99 Hamsteak and Eggs plate – an impressive jolt to both the eyes and the appetite.  The hamsteak is giant; your two eggs can be any style, and this overflowing plateful of breakfast also includes hash browns and toast – all for just $5.99.

Katie's 5 Lunches for 5 Bucks provides five delicious choices every day through November 24.  Choose from a Three-Egg, Three-Filling Omelet served with hash browns and toast, a Cheeseburger and French Fries, Old-Fashioned Beef Stew served with garlic bread, a Mexicali Plate served with Spanish rice and refried beans or Barbecued Pulled Chicken on a sesame seed bun served with cole slaw.  All five of these hearty lunches are served seven days a week in Katie's from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and each is just $5!

Katie's serves a different high-value dinner special each night of the week from 4 to 10 p.m. (2 p.m. start on Sunday).  The week starts in Katie's with a Monday Meat Lasagna with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese served with vegetables and garlic bread and soup or salad for $5.99.   Tuesday nights in November, choose from a Half-Pound Prime Rib dinner including baked potato, vegetable creamed horseradish and soup or salad for just $7.99 or a Tuesday Cheeseburger and Fries plate for $4.99. 

The Wednesday night Katie's dinner special is a Half-Pound Boneless Pork Chop dinner with pan gravy, mashed potatoes and soup or salad for $5.99.  Every Thursday, Katie's serves a Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner with mashed potatoes, creamed horseradish sauce and choice of soup or salad for only $7.99.

The weekend specials in Katie's start with a Friday-night Captain's Platter with Breaded Shrimp, Battered Cod and Clam Strips served with cole claw, French fries, tarter sauce and lemon for $7.99.  Saturday night brings two dinner specials: The Chicken Ranchero is served with refried beans and Spanish rice plus choice of soup or salad for $6.99 and the Burgundy Beef Tips over Pasta with garlic bread and choice of soup or salad is $7.99.  Katie's Sunday special starts at 2 p.m. – "The Chandler" Chicken Dinner including southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuit and cole slaw for $5.99.

On Thanksgiving Day Katie's will be offering its regular menu at regular prices plus two Thanksgiving Day dinner specials served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.  The Roast Tom Turkey dinner is $12.99 ($5.99 for children under 10) and the Virginia-style Baked Ham dinner is $8.49 ($5.99 for children under 10).  Both Thanksgiving specials include traditional holiday trimmings plus a choice of fresh garden salad or corn chowder and choice of pumpkin or apple pie for dessert.
