Description
Put your golf skills to the test at this exciting annual tournament presented by the Matthew Axelson Foundation, on June 25th at Genoa Lakes! Matthew “Axe” Axelson was a United States Navy SEAL. He was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross, the highest award the Navy can give, for his actions during Operation Red Wings. This golf tournament honors both his memory and the foundation’s commitment to support current and retired SEALS and their families. It’s also a wonderful way to interact with the foundation’s military players (active duty & retired) and show them how much their service is appreciated! A Special Forces Operator will play with your foursome when you sponsor a military golfer. The money raised supports military members and their families through the foundation’s many partners.
