The workshop will cover both "Demographic" census data and "Economic or Business" census data.

Improve your skills at obtaining key demographic data in an efficient manner using the Census Bureau's data tools, especially the American FactFinder to access social, economic, housing, and demographic data for counties, cities, census tracts, zip codes in Nevada.
Economic or Business data will be highlighted from the 2012 and 2007 Economic Census, Non-Employer statistics, Survey of Business Owners (minority-, women-, veteran-owned businesses), County and Zip Code Business Patterns, and more.
This hands-on session is designed for students, researchers, government agencies, local planners, businesses, and other data users who want to research local demographic and economic trends.
