Main Street Gardnerville continues its “Cash Mob” economic stimulus campaign and by participating in this effort, you the shopper can have a huge impact on our local economy. 
 
A Cash Mob is a new movement aimed at supporting local businesses and rebuilding communities.  It’s comparable to a Flash Mob but instead of singing and dancing, Cash Mobbers join together and commit to spending $10-20 at a predetermined local business. Cash Mobbing is an increasingly popular way to enable community members to make a difference for locally owned businesses.
Our next “Cash Mob” location is Rack’D Clothing Exchange, 1544 Main Street, Suite #4 in Stratton Center North.  Make plans to join us on January 5th anytime during their regular business hours 10 am – 3 pm and commit to investing $10-20 back into our local economy.  Rack’D Clothing Exchange is a fashion forward, trendy, edgy and fun place to shop.  As a clothing exchange, they buy and sell gently used, quality garments, handbags and accessories. They also carry a full line of new items.
 
Here’s how it works:  Locals are asked to join the Facebook group “Main Street Gardnerville Cash Mob” then invite their friends to do the same, sharing the idea with their friends.  Help us spread the word by utilizing your social media contacts and friends to make an impact on our locally owned businesses.   A Cash Mob business is selected via random drawing of Main Street Gardnerville Business Members.
