Live Comedy returns to the Carson Valley Inn on Saturday, February 5, 2011 with headliner Kenny Bob Davis, feature performer Tim Haldemen and host/MC Marc Yaffee. Doors open at 7:45 and the show starts at 8:30. Tickets are $15 which includes two drinks and tickets can be purchased at the Carson Valley Inn hotel desk or by phone at 775-783-6606.
Kenny Bob Davis has opened many concerts and main-room shows for stars such as the George Burns, Willie Nelson, Ramsey Lewis, Kenny Rogers, Roy Clark, Vince Gill, and Larry Gatlin. He has headlined all over the U.S. as a solo stand-up comedian or a one-man corporate showman. Kenny Bob has performed at or played in over 300 Charity and PGA/LPGA Tour events and was nicknamed the "Golf Comic" and "America’s Golf Guest" during the 80’s and 90’s by many PGA players and fellow entertainers. You've also seen him on television in National commercials and in film and TV productions such as Gremlins, ER, Zach and Cody, Sisters, Murder She Wrote and more.
Tim Haldeman is a seasoned actor and comedian who has performed as host/MC or featured act at dozens of charity golf tournaments and has also appeared at comedy clubs throughout California, Nevada, Washington and Oregon. As an actor, Tim has appeared in over 130 TV shows and movies and over 150 commercials. He played Elliot Blair in Universal’s Dante’s Peak and has had guest starring roles in several hit TV shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, ER, Cold Case and a recurring role on the Drew Carey Show.
Marc Yaffee is one of a few touring Native American comedians, careening across the comedy landscape leaving a trail of laughs that has made him a hit with club, casino and corporate audiences. He has written for George Carlin's Laugh.com and has appeared on the groundbreaking Showtime special, Goin' Native, Comics Unleashed and PBS and SiTV’s Latino Laugh Festival. Marc's radio credits include SiriusXM, NPR's Weekend America and multiple appearances on the Bob & Tom Show.
