Description
The Gallery of Trees, elaborately decorated by various service groups, clubs and individuals will be ready for viewing. Nestled in amongst the trees will be a display of gingerbread houses created by members of our community. Pictures with Santa will be available from 10 AM to 3 PM. The cookie walk will begin at 10 AM and go until the cookies run out!
New this year, the Museum will be staying open extra hours for those coming into town to enjoy the Parade of Lights. The parade is sponsored by the Carson valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Authority and offers a dazzlingly array of brightly decorated floats prepared by our local merchants and service groups. The parade starts at 5 PM but Hwy. 395 will close early. Be sure to arrive in plenty of time to stake out your prime viewing spot on our front lawn and browse our book store. The Museum store will be open extended hours until the end of the parade. The Museum will be serving hot beverages for our parade visitors.
