Lahontan Audubon Society and The Nature Conservancy in Nevada will host a 4-week series to highlight the wildlife and habitat found in the Carson Valley. These NV bird ID and coyote classes are an excellent opportunity for new birders and wildlife viewers to learn from some of the area’s experts! This 4-week “Feathers and Furs of Carson Valley” series with be Thursday evenings Nov. 7, 14, & Dec. 5 from 6-8pm, at the River Fork Ranch Preserve.
The Thursday evening “Feathers and Furs of Carson Valley” series of will include:
Nov. 7 - Neighborhood Birds
Nov. 14 – Wetland Birds
Nov. 21 – Flycatchers and Coyotes in Nevada
Dec. 5 – Raptors, Owls, Ravens, and Jays
