Evening Hike at Washoe Lake State Park
on Tuesday, March 19
NEW WASHOE CITY, Nev. – Join park staff for a 2.5 mile guided hike through the sand dunes and enjoy views of Washoe Lake and Slide Mountain. Reservations are required for this hike and can be made by calling (775) 687-4319 or e-mailing wlsp@parks.nv.gov. Participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy hiking shoes, as most of this trail involves walking through loose sand.
WHAT: Evening Hike at Washoe Lake State Park
WHEN: Tuesday, March 19, 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Equestrian Pavilion inside Washoe Lake State Park. 4855 Eastlake Blvd. Washoe Valley, NV 89704. Take Exit 44 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. approximately four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn right past the fee booth, pass the campground, and follow the short gravel road to the Equestrian Pavilion.
COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. Please use the self-pay station at the entrance; cash or check only.
