Clay Sculpted Wall Pocket Class

Description

This is a great class for all ages and skill levels. You will get a ball clay to roll out into a flat slab. There will be 2-3 different types of wall pocket templates to choose from. You will cut your clay slab by tracing the template. Before and after you fold up your pocket you can carve a design on it, use the decorative stamps we have at the studio or sculpt pieces to attach to your pocket. We will poke a hole for hanging once finished. Approximately 10 days later your clay pocket will come out of the kiln and you’ll get a text saying that it’s ready for pick up. You can pick up your clay pocket and paint it at home with acrylic paint or you can pay a studio fee and paint it with acrylic paints or glaze at the studio. If you paint it with glaze it will need to go into the kiln one more time.
