Description
The Friends of the Douglas County Library, the Douglas County Public Library Foundation, and Douglas County Public Library staff members present Books, Boots & Ballads, the 4th Annual Gala supporting the Douglas County Library with country music artist Jakota Wass, The event will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Carson Valley Inn and will include dinner, no-host cocktails, silent & live auctions, and a live concert featuring country music artist, Jakota Wass and members of his band.
Funds raised at the Gala will directly support these special Douglas County Public Library programs and projects:
· Senior Computer and Technology Training at the Library
· 7-Day Zephyr Cove Library Meeting Room Access
· Funding to support the Douglas County Public Library Foundation’s long-term goal of expanding the Minden Library
