Bookmobile Unveiling
The Rolling reader will be unveiled 6-8pm on August 9th at Heritage Park before the movie. The Minden and Zephyr Cove branches of the Douglas County Public Library will be closing at 3pm for the event.

| Description | The Douglas County Public Library is pleased to announce the arrival of our new bookmobile. The “Rolling Reader” will bring the services of the library to all corners of the Carson Valley by visiting schools; parks; community and senior centers; neighborhoods; and special events. Stop by the bookmobile’s Grand Opening event at Heritage Park on Friday, August 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to explore the inside and outside of the bookmobile! The bookmobile was made possible by the generous contributions of the Douglas County Public Library Foundation, the Rotary Club of Minden, the Smallwood Foundation, and private donors. The Minden and Lake Tahoe Branches of the library will be closing early on Friday, August 9 at 3:00 p.m.  |
