Description
The 11th Annual King Crab & Steak Cookout scheduled Friday August 13, 2021. During the past 10 events $235,000 was raised and donated to a variety of worthy programs including: The Boys and Girls Club of the Carson Valley, Carson Valley Children’s Center/Austin’s House, Douglas High School Volleyball, Carson Valley Food Closet, Back Pack Buddies, Suicide Prevention Network of Douglas County, Douglas County Community & Senior Center and Me for Incredible Youth (MEFIYI).
This year’s event will be at Big Daddy’s Bike & Brew. Proceeds will benefit MEFIYI middle school and high school enrichment and education programs for 2021-22 school year and Douglas High School Volleyball Program. The goal of this sponsorship is to highlight and promote businesses who endorse our organization’s mission to offer teen students and athletes guidance to best shape their futures for themselves and our community. More specifically, our programs enable teens to acquire soft skills, a college or vocational foundation that will prepare them to enter our local workforce.
