SUMMARY:The Novelists in Concert in the Park
DESCRIPTION:The historic Dangberg Home Ranch is the setting for a series of summer concerts showcasing local and regional acts performing a mix of rock\, blues\, jazz\, folk and standards. The concerts are scheduled one per month in June\, July and August. The series is sponsored by Joyce's Fine Jewelry in Gardnerville.\n\n	On the stage on August 25 is The Novelists\, a nationally touring acoustic group with multiple lead singers. They've built their sound around storytelling and four-part harmonies. Vocalist Vanessa Littrell\, introduces the evening in the style of Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones.\n\n	Each concert begins at 5:00 pm on the park's east lawn. Tickets are $10/adults\, free for 16 and younger\, and are available locally at Joyce's Fine Jewelry\, Battle Born Wine\, Plant It Nursery and The Entertainer. On-line ticketing options and more information are at www.dangberghomeranch.org. The park is located at 1450 Highway 88\, Minden\, Nevada\, one-half mile south of the Carson Valley Swim Center.
