DESCRIPTION:Carson Valley Community Theatre hosts this workshop.  Attendees will learn the basics of building theatrical set through a series of presentations on the fundamentals of set building\, including the following topics:  Preparing for construction\, Safety\, Construction rules and guidelines\, tools\, materials\, basic set pieces and putting up the set at the theatre.  The afternoon session will be a hands-on workshop to allow attendees to put what they have learned into practice by building/repairing/altering some CVCT set pieces.
