DESCRIPTION:Kites! Throughout the day\, expert kite flyer Cameron Kauffman will show off some unique and fund kites\, and kite-flying techniques. Cameron will give a brief presentation on kites at both 10 am and 1 pm\, then fly his kites for a few hours afterwards.\n\n\n\nNew Trees:  A Nevada 150 Legacy Project.  We're excited that Douglas County and Mountain View Tree Farm are helping us plant three Frontier Elm trees at the park\, so that future generations can have some shade when they come visit.  Thank you to everyone who donated.  We're also excited that Lt. Governor Brian Krolicki and Douglas County Officials will join us for a tree-planting ceremony at 12:30 pm.  This is an official Legacy Project of Nevada 150\, celebrating Nevada's sesquicentennial\, and you're invided to come.
