DESCRIPTION:Kites and Scatter's Attic to raise funds for Dangberg Historic Park\n\nMINDEN\, Nev.  Something in the Wind\, a free kite flying event\, will take place at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park on Saturday and Sunday\, May 15-16. On the same weekend\, the non-profit Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch is also hosting its annual rummage sale\, Scatter's Attic\, at the park. Both activities are free to attend.\n\nSomething in the Wind features expert kite flyer Cameron Kauffman of CoolKiter.com. Kauffman will demonstrate several models of large and unusual kites\, as well as answer questions.  The public is also welcome to bring kites to fly\, at any time during the day.\n\nInexpensive\, quick-assembly kite kits will be available for purchase\, as will some pre-made kites\, while supplies last. Unlike previous years\, free kites and assistance with kite-making will not be available.\n\nSomething in the Wind is sponsored by Douglas County\, Carson Valley Accounting\, Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce\, Dr. James the Dentist\, Edward Jones Investments   Tim Cleveland\, Horse Tales\, D&B Cabinets\, Holiday Inn Express   Minden\, Hone Company\, Jacobs Family Berry Farm\, Mangia Tutto\, The Pink House and Frances C. and William P.
