DESCRIPTION:Our November Lecture speaker will be Doug Gist\, retired Captain from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Reno. He spent nineteen years as a member of the Honor Guard\, paying respects to officers who had made the ultimate sacrifice serving all of us. In 2007\, Doug brought together a group of friends and fellow law enforcement honor guard members and unleashed a vision of creating a national focus law enforcement museum in the Reno area. In July of 2009\, the Silver State National Peace Officers Museum opened its doors. Doug will speak to us about the museum. The Admission is $3.00/ free to members.
