He has a master's degree in cinema from the University of Southern California.  Over the years\, he has worked for David L. Wolper\, the Walt Disney Company\, Columbia Picture\, all three networks and PBS.  He will be speaking about the Mojave Desert and the towns of Tonopah and Goldfield. His book Gold and Silver in the Mojave: Images of the Last Frontier will be available.  Admission is $3.00/ free to members.
