DESCRIPTION:Celebrate our nation's independence at the Genoa Americana Celebration. The fun begins with a parade at 10:30 a.m. (line up at Genoa Town Park at 10 a.m.)\, followed by entertainment in the park from 10:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.\, including the Carson City Symphony at 3:45 p.m. The Genoa Volunteer Fire Department serves a July 4th Chicken BBQ dinner (  barbecued chicken\, coleslaw and a baked potato) for anyone who would like to avoid bringing their own picnic. Beer\, wine\, water and other refreshments will also be served. BBQ Tickets are $14 this year.
