SUMMARY:General Membership Luncheon - April
DESCRIPTION:This month's General Membership Luncheon honors the past and looks to the future. We are helping the Town of Minden celebrate the 100th anniversary of the C.V.I.C. Hall by taking the luncheon to that building that is so much a part of Carson Valley history. \n\n	 \n\n	At lunch\, we will hear from Edgewood Companies on the progress of their Edgewood Tahoe Lodge Project\, which combines a LEED designed hotel\, spa and restaurant\, upgrades to the current clubhouse\, links to bike and walking trails and much more with significant environmental improvements. The project is expected to be before the TRPA Governing Board in the fall and construction could start in 2013. \n\n	 \n\n	Our friends at Hamdog's will be bringing in lunch and our Business of the Month is Ironwood Cinemas\, where some major facility improvements are taking place as well. I suspect the raffle prizes could get you and the family in to see "Hunger Games'. See you on the 18th\, RSVP here.

LOCATION:Built in 1912\, the CVIC Hall has been at the center of Valley life for a century. Our visit to Esmerelda Street for the luncheon is the first time a Chamber luncheon has been there for quite some time.
