You're invited!\n\n"Pitching In: The Red Cross and the Home Front during Two World Wars\, 1917-1945\," uses Red Cross-related artifacts across two generations to show how Americans prepared during two world wars. These include first-aid manuals\, lapel pins\, news clippings and other items. The display will also include images from wartime advertising campaigns\, designed to inspire Americans to volunteer their talents\, service\, and blood for the common good.\n\nThe exhibit will be open Saturday-Sunday\, September 12-13\, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.\n\nThis is a free event\, but we're hoping for donations (got pocket change?) to help build our Restoration Fund to support repair and preservation of the park's historic buildings and structures.
