DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Douglas County Library will host a two-day used book sale\, Friday and Saturday\, March 13-14\, at the Minden Library\, 1625 Library Lane. A preview sale for Friends of the Library will be held from noon to 2 pm on Friday\, March 13\; non-members are welcome to join at the door. Members of the Friends receive a 10% discount on all purchases throughout the sale. The sale will open to the public starting at 2 pm on Friday\, March 13\, and continues Saturday\, March 14 from 10 am to 4 pm\, with a   price sale from 3 to 4 pm. on Saturday. The sale will feature hardback and paperback fiction and nonfiction\, vintage\, teen\, and children's books\, puzzles\, and more. Donations of 1 or 2 bags or small boxes of books are accepted at the library during regular hours. For larger donations\, contact the library at 775-782-9841.\n\n\n\nProceeds from the book sales are used by the Friends to support library programs and projects for infants\, preschoolers\, children\, "tweens"\, teens and adults.
