DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Douglas County Library will host a two-day used book sale\, Friday and Saturday\, November 15-16\, at the Minden Library\, 1625 Library Lane.\n\n\n\nThe sale will feature hardback and paperback fiction and nonfiction\, vintage\, teen\, and children's books\, puzzles\, and more. A preview sale for members of Friends of the Library will be from noon to 3 pm on Friday\, November 15. Non-members are welcome to join at the door. Members of the Friends receive a 10% discount on all purchases throughout the sale. Beginning at 3 pm on Friday\, November 15\, the sale opens to the public and continues Saturday\, November 16 from 10 am to 4 pm\, with a price sale from 3 to 4 pm. \n\nDonations of 1 or 2 bags or small boxes of books are accepted at the library during regular hours. For larger donations\, contact the library at 775-782-9841 or info@douglas.lib.nv.us.\n\n\n\nProceeds from the book sales are used by the Friends to support library programs and projects for infants\, preschoolers\, children\, "tweens"\, teens and adults.
