Tickets for the Chautauqua are available in Gardnerville at Battle Born Wine and in Minden at 88 Cups &\; More\, or online at dangberg.eventbrite.com. Unless sold out\, tickets will be available at the gate. All other events to come are free for everyone. No dogs\, please. | \n \n \n \n | \n \n \n \n | \n \n \n \n\n \; \n | \n \n \n \n \;\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  | \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n | Anita Watson will portray Mary Pickford\, at the Park on Wednesday\, September 7\, at 6:30 pm. \;Mary Pickford was an actress\, a writer\, a producer\, a director\, and co-founder of a movie studio. She socialized with Hollywood&rsquo\;s most famous stars and married a swashbuckling film hero\, Douglas Fairbanks. In 1955\, she published her autobiography\, Sunshine and Shadows. Pickford will discuss her book and her life\, including her \;1920 Nevada divorce. Dr. \;Anita Watson teaches history at UNR and is coordinator of the Shared History Program.
