Last year\, the Carson Valley community contributed over $60\,000 in cash and just short of 100\,000 pounds of food making this the Carson Valley Food Closet's major cash and food raising event of the year. \n\n  \n\nJoin KTVN's John Potter\, Jeff Thompson and Ted Brightman in their live broadcasts . . . plus Santa arrives by CareFlight Helicopter at 10 a.m. and various entertainment starts at noon. Donate blood from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, visit with your neighbors and just get in on the general positive buzz as darn near the whole community stops by at some point during the day!
