Mike Pegram and the Carano Family purchased the Carson Valley Inn on January 4\, 2010. A major casino and restaurant remodeling project started the next day and was completed within 3 months. A grand re-opening followed in mid-April of 2010.\n\n \n\nOn Friday\, April 15\, the Inn will be serving free cake and champagne in the casino from noon to 2 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. INN Club members will earn double points (2X) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and free anniversary t-shirts will be given away randomly in the casino.\n\n \n\nSaturday\, April 16 will bring INN Club members 5X points for all play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The anniversary weekend wraps up with a big band concert in the Valley Ballroom on Sunday\, April 17. The hotel lobby and check-in area and hotel hallways have been completely remodeled. 40 of the standard hotel rooms have been completely redone from floor to ceiling to walls and are now Deluxe rooms. All seven suites have been completely remodeled and substantially upgraded. The Convention Center has been recarpeted and also has new wall coverings\, ceiling treatments and lighting. A new Business Center is now available for hotel guests at no charge.\n\n \n\nThe coming months will see even more improvements at the Carson Valley Inn with a new up-scale reception room opening off the hotel lobby in early April.
