DESCRIPTION:The Purpose of the Family Caregiving: Legal and Financial Issues module is to inform caregivers about legal and financial issues that affect then and the loved one for whom they care.  After completion participants should understand legal issues surrounding caring for someone and planning his or her health care\, insurance information\, and budgeting. We are happy also to have a special guest speaker\, Paula Schneider.    Paula is a veteran Registered Nurse of 39 years.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master's degree in Public Health\, both from the University of Texas.  Her health care career has been diverse\, but her true love is care of the dying.  She was a hospice RN case manager for 10 years and has continued her passion by consulting with families about end-of-life issues and hosting Death Cafes.
