DESCRIPTION:(Minden\, NV) Two days of sporting clays shooting at two different clubs are featured in the Carson Valley Inn's 26th Annual Shooting Outing on February 23 - 26\, 2012. The extended weekend includes 250 clay targets\, an abundance of hearty food and $2\,000 in cash prizes.\n\n	 \n\n	The events begin on Thursday afternoon with an optional early-bird shoot at the private Carson Valley Clays Gun Club. Squad selection for the weekend is done at a shooter's reception in the Valley Ballroom on Thursday evening with cocktails and plenty of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres.  On Friday\, it's off to the sprawling Walker River Resort for 15 stations of Sporting Clays and a steak lunch.  Shooting activities continue on Saturday in the rugged mountain-side setting of the Carson Valley Clays Gun Club. A gala Buffet featuring game and traditional fare is Saturday night followed by the presentation of the awards. A modified Lewis System of scoring makes it possible for shooters of all levels to have an equal "shot" at sharing in the $2\,000 in cash prizes. \n\n	 \n\n	The Carson Valley Inn's shooting outing hotel package of $399 per person\, double occupancy\, includes the Thursday-evening reception\, Friday and Saturday shooting\, the Saturday Buffet dinner\, three night's accommodations and all associated taxes and gratuities.  This annual event is a great way to meet new friends and experience the wide variety of shooting recreation available in the Carson Valley area.
