Valentine's Day Dining at the Carson Valley Inn
Katie's, the Carson Valley Inn's 24-hour restaurant and CV Steak, the Inn's Nevada-style steakhouse, are offering their regular menu selections plus specials on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14.
The CV Steak regular menu features a selection of appetizers and a generous range of entrees including steaks, chops, seafood, chicken and pasta dishes. CV Steak is also offering two Valentine's Day Specials. The Châteaubriand for Two includes roasted beef tenderloin carved tableside and served with béarnaise sauce and a Cabernet demi-glaze plus a special holiday dessert for two for $38 per person. The Grilled Salmon Oscar includes a salmon fillet served with crab meat, asparagus, béarnaise sauce and port wine glaze plus holiday dessert for $35. Both specials include the CV Steak signature table side tossed salad, sour dough baguette, creamery butter, and choice of twice-baked, baked or au gratin potatoes. CV Steak opens at 4:30 p.m. and reservations are always recommended by calling 775-783-6650. The CV Steak Sunset Specials will not be offered on Valentine’s Day.

The Angel Hair Pasta Shrimp Scampi special is served with soup or salad for $12.99.
The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Hwy 88, twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno.
