Gardnerville's Carson Valley Christmas Kickoff
Thursday, December 1, 2016 - 4:30 p.m. - Heritage Park

Join us for the ninth annual Kickoff.  Enjoy an old fashioned holiday event complete with live entertainment, horse-drawn wagon, Santa and fireworks.  What more could you ask for?  Carriage rides will start at 4:00 p.m.  The wagon rides will stop for a few minutes around 4:20 to bring Santa to the park at 4:30 p.m. The wagon rides around the park will continue until the fireworks
begin between 6:00 and 6:30. The Town of Gardnerville board members and staff will be serving Dutch oven cobblers, spiced cider and hot cocoa.  The Gardnerville Town Water Company will serve popcorn.  The Town Christmas tree and the Heritage Park Pavilion will be lit; The All About Dance Kids will be here again to entertain along with the Christmas Carolers. The musical light show features the song Galloping Jingle Bells and the fireworks (weather permitting) will be the grand finale. 
If you miss the Kickoff you can still see the musical light show if you drive around the park any evening between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM and tune your radio to 89.9 FM.  FUN FOR EVERYONE!!!
