The Genoa Candy Dance is on the last full weekend of September each year. The date for the Annual Genoa Candy Dance Art & Crafts Faire is Saturday and Sunday, September 23-24, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Candy Dance Dinner & Dance is Saturday night from 4 to 10 p.m.

Parking and Shuttles**

There is a per vehicle parking fee in designated lots, with free shuttles to and from the Candy Dance Faire. The locations of these lots are:

• Foothill Road south of Genoa ? $5
• Genoa Lane east of Genoa ? $5
• Jacks Valley Road north of Genoa ? $5

**Shuttles from Minden/Gardnerville will no longer be available for the 2017 Candy Dance.

Driving Tips

From Points North: From the Reno/Carson City area, take Highway 395 south to Genoa Lane. Turn right on Genoa Lane and continue on to Genoa.

From Points West: From the north Lake Tahoe area, take Highway 50 to Highway 395 south to Jacks Valley Road. Turn right on Jacks Valley Road continue on to Genoa. From South Lake Tahoe, take the Kingsbury Grade (State Route 207) to Foothill Road. Turn left on Foothill and travel north to Genoa.

From Points South: From Minden or Gardnerville, take Highway 395 north to Muller Lane. Turn left on Muller Lane then right on Foothill Road and continue on to Genoa. From Alpine County take Highway 88 north to Highway 395 north and follow the directions above.

Dinner-Dance: Tickets and Information

1. Saturday, September 23rd in the Genoa Town Park from 4:30 to 10 p.m. with dinner service starting at 5:30 p.m.
2. DINNER TICKETS: Adults = TBA; Children = TBA, ages 12 and under. Contact the Town Office. TABLE SPACE IS LIMITED!
3. 1919 Society Tables: TBA per person, TBA per table of 10. (Includes reserved seating and special amenities.)
4. DANCE ONLY TICKETS: TBA per person. Contact the Town Office.
5. DINNER TICKETS SELL OUT FAST! Purchase them ASAP to reserve a seat at the Candy Dance Dinner.
6. Dinner Catered By: Carson City BBQ

The Candy Dance Dinner will be held on Saturday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Genoa Town Park on Nixon Street. The Dance and and a No-Host bar will start at 4:30 p.m. and shut down at 10 p.m.

All tickets may be purchased at the Genoa Town Offices or by phone 775-782-8696, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner and Dance Only tickets will also be available at the at the entrance, if room allows.

Dinner Dance Parking

Parking for the Dinner/Dance is in the Genoa Lane Parking Lot. The shuttle will be transporting guests to and from this parking lot up to and after the dance ends at 10 p.m. Parking is FREE to guests with Dinner/Dance Tickets. Guests who purchase tickets to the dinner/dance may enter the parking lot 4:00 p.m. SATURDAY at NO CHARGE ? guests must have Dinner/Dance Ticket to show the lot attendant.
